Praise the Lord Brothers and sisters:
I need to tell you about a change we are making. Effective November 18, 2015
Our current Azusa StreetRiders support t-shirts will become a member’s only t shirt.
.
We will be selling new support shirts, with a new design, with the biggest change being,
The New Azusa StreetRiders support t-shirts will not have our patch on the back of it.
Only members will have shirts that have our patch on it.

These shirts will come in two colors ( orange or dark gray ) and will be available in long sleeve and short sleeve. These shirts will replace the shirts our state coordinators sell as well. Coordinators will need to contact sis. Diaz or myself to make arrangements to exchange the members only shirts in their inventory they use on there tables at events for the new support shirts.

They are being ordered and will be available very soon in our store on the www.azusastreetriders.com    website

A word from our Chaplain

There is an urgency!

One of our ASR families is in need of immediate prayer. They have a 14-year-old girl that is struggling with spirits that are causing her to cut herself & to express herself in very dark ways. This young lady received the Holy Ghost when she was six (6) years old & has a heart that is very sensitive to spiritual things. She lives her Apostolic faith in a difficult public school environment where she is bullied for her faith & because of how she dresses. Although she continues to love God & invite friends to church, she is involved in a strong supernatural battle that threatens her very spiritual existence. She is very talented in art but as she struggles her sketches becomes more & more dark.

There is an urgency…& on the heels of our first Spiritual Warfare Conference held last week in Louisiana, we are “Armed & Engaged!”

While this wonderful family enters this time of spiritual warfare for this child, I am calling for all of our members & their families to bind together in prayer & fasting, as if this were our very own young person, & not let them face it alone. Let’s stand in the gap for this young lady. Her eternity may just hinge on our response.

There are so many other needs and/or similar situations within our organization. So, if your heart is stirred by this family’s plight OR if you know of another pressing need in our ASR family, please join with me on a 3-day prayer & fasting chain next week (Wednesday, November 4th – Friday, November 6th) for deliverance, victory & healing. I have also posted in this month’s publication of Rumblings our current list of prayer requests that we can fast & pray over as well. Also, if you would desire one, we have prayer cloths available that can be anointed, prayed over & sent to you. So, during this unified 3-day venture of prayer & fasting, you can fast one, two or all three days; your choice. But, together, let’s see what the Lord will do!

Please text, call or e-Mail if you intend to be involved.

Be blessed!

Greetings From The National Vice President

Just a Quick reminder that I am always here if anyone needs anything. I’m just a phone call or message away. I am exited about everything going on with The Azusa Streetriders these days. I am looking forward to watching this ministry continue to grow.

With that said I want to take the time to remind all of you that just because the riding season is near over or at least slowing down, our ministry is not. This is an excellent time of the year for making connections, developing relationships and helping those in need during all of the upcoming holidays. Licensed or not every member of ASR is a minister of the gospel. Let’s show the world what it truly means to be apostolic.

Let’s take this time off from riding that is coming near, and find a place to get involved. Whether it be teaching home Bible studies working in a food pantry or food kitchen or just flat out every day witnessing. Remember this Thanksgiving and Christmas there are many who will go without unless we show them the love of Christ. It’s simply starts by inviting them to church and loving them.

Hope to see you all soon.

A Word From Our Chapter Presidents

Greetings from the Sikeston, MO chapter of Azusa StreetRiders:

Just wanted to update everyone about the August 29th event we co-hosted with Pure Freedom Motorcycle Ministries. It was a awesome day! We had approximately 45 bikes and 100 guests attend. We had a ride in the morning, a “blessing of the bikes,” games in the afternoon and a band from Cape Rock-N-Roll Church played music. Lots of venders, free food and tons of prizes were given out. Thanks to the many local business for sponsorship and donating prizes.

The evening concluded with a testimony and the preached Word from Reverend Elliot of Illinois, a founding member and formerly of Satan’s Choice M/C of Canada. He is now an Apostolic minister.

We want to thank Pure Freedom Motorcycle Ministries, Bro. David Cobb (ASR Missouri coordinator), and the members of MOKAN Azusa StreetRiders for helping us represent Azusa StreetRiders and our churches well in our community. Special thanks to all members of Christian Tabernacle and Sikeston First Assembly for the countless hours that went into preparation for this event. Plans are under way to make it even bigger and better next year. God bless…

A Word From Our Chapter Presidents

The North Jersey Chapter of ASR just ended “Roar to the Shore” in Wildwood, N.J. The dates were September 11, 12 and 13. We set up a booth and witnessed to bikers all day Friday and Saturday and on Sunday church was held at 10am. The following people made this happen: From South Jersey we had Vice President Jimmy Boyle; International Vice President Jim Curley and his wonderful wife Sister Liz Curley; International Secretary Lydia Diaz and her husband Brother Extor Diaz. Our goal is to have a food truck next year and sell food along with our booth. We have been doing this outreach for about six years and would like to continue for many more years. Please pray for this outreach as we had good responses this year. This was the first year that a church service was held at the booth. Pray for an even better turnout next year.
Thank You
Robert Klages (Pres. North Jersey ASR)

Azusa StreetRiders, the world’s only Oneness Apostolic Motorcycle Ministry met in Maryville, TN at First Apostolic Church (Pastor Kenneth Carpenter) and 74 members from 18 states, Canada and Africa were in attendance.pin

Thursday night, July 30, 2015, Rev. Jerry Richardson, the UPCI Regional Director to Africa, preached our “Motorcycles for Missionaries” service and reception was tremendous. He helped explain how the motorcycle gifts assist jr2missionaries on the foreign fields. And on Friday night, July 31, 2015, Dr. David K. Bernard, the UPCI General Superintendent, preached “God is Able.” Services were open to the public and both nights were very well attended. Following the Friday night service, we were honored to baptize two ladies in the wonderful Name of Jesus!

As always, the Smokey Mountains offer excellent motorcycle riding areas and Azusa StreetRiders took advantage them and great the weather! We had an awesome time of fellowship and renewal.

At the business meeting, two new officers were elected; Rev. Anthony Storey (President—Eminence, KY) and Rev. Jim Curley (Vice President—Ashland, KY). Bro. Robert Thompson (Maryville, TN) was retained as Secretary and Sis. Lydia Diaz (Mays Landing, NJ) remains Treasurer.

The Azusa StreetRiders are not about motorcycles or riding. We’re about souls—Working for the Lord!

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!

Letters from our Chapter Presidents

The Atlantic Canada Chapter hosted the 7th Annual “Cruzin’ for Christ” – Motorcycles for Missions Biker Rally on 22 August 2015.
We had 24 bikers in attendance which included a Polaris Slingshot. We know of at least 13 bikers who took a “rain-check” because of thunder / lightening in their areas.
Two separate groups met in their respective regions and then rode to a common meeting place. We had a BBQ lunch and headed out on a group ride with 24 bikers.
I’ve just been in touch with our treasurer. As I prepare this report, given the actual funds that are deposited plus the valid commitments of “It’s in the mail”, we now feel confident that we will be able to purchase SEVEN more motorcycles for use in Ghana and Burkina Faso in West Africa plus one for the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific and a contribution toward a bike for Thailand.
As Bro. Jerry Richardson told us at the ASR National Rally in Maryville, TN, “Motorcycles are making a very positive impact on the Mission Field in Africa.”
Our challenge, as a motorcycle ministry, is to have each ASR Chapter and ASR Member commit to “Ride locally to Impact Globally” so that funding requests don’t get deferred until “Next Year.”

Letters from our Chapter Presidents

Greeting in the Name of our Lord!

We had our 9th Annual “Cruz’n’ For Christ” motorcycle run on 8/22/15. This was the first event I’ve participated in as Chapter President of Northern Kentucky ASR and I’d like to recognize our members and Chapter board members. They did a great job getting things together this year. A special thanks to our Anthony Storey, our new ASR National President, for making the transition easy and for helping setup everything. We not only raised money for the Wounded Warrior Project and Motorcycles for Missionaries, but are making lots of connections in the community and spreading the Word of God! Most importantly, thanks to God for always being there and keeping us safe and dry this year as we were out doing His will.

From previous years, we continued the theme of the bike show first followed by a “fun run.” Slightly more than 30 bikes registered but several more came to show support and make donations. The ride started in Eminence, KY at the CVS where the bike show was held. Approximately 20 bikes stayed for ride. Leaving Eminence, we proceeded though Shelbyville towards Lawrenceburg. From there we made our way to the State’s capital, Frankfort.

While in Frankfort, we stopped by the Vietnam Memorial to pay our respect to our fallen national heroes. The memorial is a large open concrete pad with the soldiers’ names scattered about in what first appears to a random order. However, each location has a special meaning to it. In the center of the concrete pad is a 10-foot sundial that casts a shadow across the pad. This is what makes the placement of the names special. The shadow crossed the name of the fallen soldier on the day he made the ultimate sacrifice giving each man his own special, memorial once a year. A final note about the Vietnam Memorial is a scripture that surrounds the sundial; Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” All gave some, some gave all. May they rest in peace!

One more stop was made before our ride home. We stopped by the Boone Center National Guard Memorial to pay honor to our Guardsmen that faithfully fought for us. While there we meet a CMA group there. After a few minutes of fellowship we had a moment of pray for our soldiers and for safety of the ride.

I would like to give thanks to a few more people; the members of ASR. We had several show up from other chapters to show their support. Not only did we get to spread the Word of God and make connections with the local community, we got to spend time fellowships with one another. I say this without reserve as I type, the ASR is more than a ministry to me, it’s family!

May God bless you and protect you on your journeys.

You brother in Christ,
Andrew Storey

A word from the Vice President

Greetings to all my ASR family,

I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you how much I love you all, how much I love ASR, and to thank you all for putting your trust in me by voting me into the office as the National Vice President of Azusa StreetRiders.

Most of you know I am a product of ASR. I loved G-d but it was when I was introduced to ASR that my love for G-d and my ministry went to the next level. ASR flat out changed my life so I want to do all I can do to help make this ministry the best it can be. ASR changes lives. It’s that simple!

I will keep this short because you will all be hearing from me on a regular basis this year, but I just want you to know that I am here for anything; questions, concerns, fellowship, prayer, etc. Do not hesitate to contact me for any needs that arise or even if you just want to say hi.

I will do all I can to serve in this position to the best of my abilities and according to His will. This is going to be an amazing year for ASR!

Now let’s go hit those highways, byways and hedges to tell some people about Jesus!
