To The Membership

As many of you are aware, Bro Theodore has resigned his position as the International President of Azusa Streetriders as of January 7, 2024. As per our bylaws, upon resignation of the President, “the Vice President shall be elevated to President, and shall fulfill the duties thereof for the remainder of his term of office.” I do not take this responsibility lightly, and I desire your prayers for the board as we navigate new territory.

My first request as President of this ministry, is to ask you to please lift Bro and Sis Theodore up to the Lord in prayer. The Theodores have been a valuable asset to ASR for many years. We are very grateful for their years of sacrifice for this ministry.

My desire for this ministry is to see spiritual growth in each member, chapter, and region. We are living in a dark hour in this world, but it is now that our light can shine the brightest. I believe the hand of God is on this ministry, and if we are careful to follow His leading, we will see an outpouring of His Spirit! God is going to do a mighty work in this hour, and I want ASR to be a part of it. “And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9.

I know there has been some tumultuous times in the past couple years, but I believe in this ministry. I have never experienced such a unified body of believers like there is in Azusa Streetriders. You have been called and equipped to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world on 2 or 3 wheels. Paul, in writing to the church in Ephesus said, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. One Lord, one faith, one baptism. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:1-6

Let this year be the year, as we fire up our bikes, and head out into the mission field, that we go with the fires of revival. Let this year be the year, that we hit the roads with a renewed mission minded focus, that we must reach someone today with the Gospel.
As you plan your events:
Be intentional about outreach.
Be intentional about souls.
Be intentional about your witness.

Only eternity will tell of the impact this ministry has had on our world. I love and appreciate each and every one of you. I look forward to seeing what God is going to do in our midst.
