MOKAN Chapter News
MOKAN Chapter of ASR formed October 2014 based out of the Life Church Pastored by Stanley O. Gleason located at 10400 View High drive, Kansas City Missouri 64134. Officers are as follows: Scott Culver President, Pete Olson Vice President, Danny Torres secretary/treasurer, Jamie ONeal Road Captain.

Shortly after forming our chapter we began a Yankee Candle fund raiser to give a needy family gifts and gift cards for Christmas. With the Lord’s help we were able to raise enough money to give, a family of eight, many gift cards for their six children ranging from 13 to 20 allowing them to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a way that they wouldn’t have been able to do without our help. Mom and dad were able to celebrate with special gift cards for their personal use.
We have enjoyed a Brat Run to McBee’s in Amsterdam, MO to pick up some specialty bratwurst and enjoy the countryside and fellowship with a dinner at Sneads BBQ in Belton, MO.
We are looking forward to a run to Sikeston to support our ASR brothers on the other side of the state…get to do some riding and witnessing you just never know what God might throw in our path.
We have two “potential members” looking over our program and what we are about. Also have two young ASR “Future Members” we are mentoring; one is a 3-year old and the other is an 8-year old.
Our church, The Life Church of KCMO, is this year’s host to the “Missouri District Men’s Conference.” We are planning a ride to the Harley-Davidson factory in Kansas City, MO since the dates coincide with their open house. We are also celebrating the birth of our Brother Don Patton’s very first granddaughter!
