Culture of Caring

Let me begin by saying I hope everyone had a blessed, and happy Thanksgiving!
As we traveled, I was noticing the difference in the atmosphere of just simply walking in to a restaurant or gas station. There is no longer a simplicity of everyday, “normal” activities. People are adapting to the craziness of the all dreaded masks, staying 6 feet apart and minimum physical contact with others.
I began to think that even in the craziness and the unknown – we have a steadfast Saviour! What a peace, a comfort in serving God!
I reflect on my blessings, all that I am thankful for and my ASR family is at the top of my list. Donald and I have formed so many friendships with folks that if not for ASR, would have probably never met. We love each and everyone of you and appreciate knowing that there are kindred spirits working together for the ultimate reward!
Not only our friendships inside ASR but also all the strangers we have met in our journeys, that have become friends thru witnessing because of ASR. We, as a group, should be so thankful and grateful to Bro. Fred and Sis. Diane Beall and their burden for an Apostolic motorcycle ministry! Have you ever thought just how many souls have become entwined because of their burden? I’m thankful because they listened to the calling and followed thru with their vision. Just how many people have come to God because of this ministry is unknown, but it continues to reach the lost and that’s what it is all about!  Luke 14:23 And the Lord said unto the servant, go out unto the highways and hedges , and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
I have an excitement stirring in me and so looking forward to being able to reach the lost thru this ministry and to continue hearing all the good reports of healings, lives being changed, and blessings being poured out on our churches and missionaries.  God is GREAT and GREATLY to be praised
This year has brought so many changes and uncertainties but the ONE thing that has not changed is our on time God!
No matter what the hiccups we face in our daily walk, we can go to the master. He carries us and is working on our behalf. We must keep our eyes on Jesus and know that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!

The end of another year is upon us.  Time surely has a way of quickly passing. There is still so much work to be done-so many souls still to be reached.
I am thankful for the ASR ministry and the outlet it provides to reach those that we may have never even encountered in other settings.
so many different types of people- battered, broken, depressed, empty and totally abandoned. But no matter the case, they ALL have one thing in common- they need to know Jesus!   We are here to show them the love and compassion of Christ. People are searching for something, they are hungry in these perilous times we are living. We need to show them a love far more than they have ever felt. Only Jesus can fill their loneliness, emptiness, desperate need in their lives. Let our lights shine in this dark and gloomy world that they can see Jesus through our daily living. We may be the only bible that some ever see.
Let’s unite in prayer for the lost and hurting!
We also need to be in prayer for the upcoming election and our president.
The devil is on a rampage to destroy and we must bind every stronghold

Culture of Caring

We are already getting ready for  October!  Where has this year gone?
It has been such a stressful, uncertain year for most.  Our world is completely out of sorts so it seems.  Much sadness with the Covid-19 and how it has,  in one way or another, affected almost each and every one of us in some form or fashion.  Many lives changed forever through the sickness.

The riots, the total disrespect for our government and our leaders.  We must continue to pray for our President and family, our troops, and the ones fighting battles right here close to home.  All the situations our children are seeing and having to deal with are upsetting to them and they don’t understand. The changes in what they are having to face as “normal” now has a huge impact on them. We need to step in and surround them with prayer. Our prayers may be all the covering that many of these people receive.

My heart hurts when I see the chaos in the world.  Seems people have lost their sense of love, respect and compassion for their friends and neighbors.

The bible says that in the last days, perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high, indee, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.  (2 Timothy 3: 1-4)

I believe we are truly in the last days and it is so important to be the care and compassion, the joy in this dark world that so many are seeking.
My desire is to be a witness and if I can help one soul, that is one less lost and going to hell. I pray that the world sees Jesus in us!

What a Wonderful time we had at the 2020 ASR Rally!
The rally was held July 29 through August 1 In beautiful Nashville, Indiana. We appreciate all the hard work and planning that went into this event. We had 40 plus bikes and many vehicles. I know it took much preparation to plan the routes for the rides, restaurants big enough to hold everyone and to work with the local church for our services.
Our first meeting for the Chaplains was held this year and Bro. Mark Hardin did a fantastic job with this very informative meeting. I heard so many words of help and how to be compassionate in ways I hadn’t thought of. How, sometimes, just be there. Sit quietly, doing nothing, just a presence. Sis. Theodore, Bro. Perry and Bro. Hennigan did an amazing job and was very informative!
The Pentecostals of Nashville were AMAZING! They worked with a big smile for all the riders.
Thank you to each of them and to Bro. Dupree for his leadership and involvement!
Wednesday night was a great tent singing with the spirit of God moving all around! What a glorious time of praise and fellowship.
Thursday Night we had Bro Scotty Grimh, Missionary to East Africa. What a blessing he was. I thank God for the money raised to bless him with 6 motorcycles. The service was so powerful and the presence of the lord was mighty! Souls were blessed beyond measure.
Bro Grimh even hung around and joined our ride Friday.
We had a beautiful ride Friday and a delicious lunch served by Sis Bubbly and crew❤️ Friday night service was a blow out! How mighty is our God? Bro. Doughty from Mattoon, Ill did a fantastic job!
We closed out Saturday with the annual business meeting and lunch. It is always so sad to have to say goodbye to everyone. One day, and I don’t believe it will be long, we will never have to leave one another again.
During this week together, you could not only see the love, But feel the unity and love among our Azusa Streetriders. Some of us only see each other once a year, but there is a love between everyone constantly. It is so comforting to know we have brothers and sisters in Christ that carries us in prayer and love.
We sure missed Bro. and Sis. Bealle this year! Our prayers for them continuously!

Culture of Caring

We are facing such difficult times in our world. Each and every day we hear more and more of ongoing riots, discontent, racism, division and no respect for  anyone in authority.  Our country is changing, and not for the good by any means.
God has been taken out of the equation by so many when HE is the ONLY one that can heal our broken society and unify our people.
The devil is on the loose in a mighty way. Minds are confused and distorted in what is right and wrong.
2 Timothy 3:1-5. But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.  For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness but denying its power.  Avoid such people.
The church is being ridiculed and mocked as people destroy hope of togetherness.  How much further will things go? How long will innocent people die for absolutely no wrong doing?  We need healing in our government, in our communities and in ourselves.  Until God is back where he belongs, there will be no peace. We must bind together as the church to cover our president, our police officers, military personnel, our friends and our families in constant prayer.

We are believing for the following prayer requests:

Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding and a hunger to know God more intimately.

President Donald Trump  Vice President Pence

All government representatives, Healthcare workers, Policemen and First Responders

COMPASSION- sympathetic pity and concern for the suffering or misfortunes of others.

How many times do we practice showing compassion to those around us that are suffering, hurting, or are struggling due to circumstances they can not control?
In this day and time so many are facing hardships and feel like they have nowhere to turn or anyone that will listen. It is very important for us to show compassion and love just as Jesus did. Psalms 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of and gracious, long suffering, and compassion plenteous in mercy and truth. Psalms 111:4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Our human nature sometimes wants to rise up in our spirit and think that maybe that person deserves what they are dealing with, if they wouldn’t have done this or that, they wouldn’t be going through that. I know I have been guilty of feeling that old streak of-that’s what you get and it’s about time something goes wrong for you the way you act! Haha.
I pray God keeps my mind and heart from hatefulness or envy and let’s me have pure compassion  anyone in need. It is not my place to be a judge on their behavior but to show kindness and understanding.
Jesus looked through his eyes at those that persecuted him, mocked him, and judged him with such great compassion. I want to be more like Jesus! Psalms 145:8 says The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. We can practice daily in our conversations we have and merely by our actions. So many people are searching right now, trying to understand and to find something reliable, long lasting that they can depend on no matter the circumstance. They are hungry and it’s time for the church to show compassion to the lost like we never have before.
Mark 6:34 And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
My prayer is for people to see compassion in me. I want to have love and understanding in my heart that I may show compassion to a point where people feel the love of Jesus flowing through me. I pray that we all, as Azusa Streetriders, show that example of God in us to everyone we meet. May they feel the presence of God and feel the compassion in our hearts as we witness and reach out to them for their souls to be saved! They are starving and we have the answer!
