Now is the time to start planning your event for 2026!
Even if you don’t have all the details mapped out, or know exactly what kind of event you are planning, it’s a great idea to at least nail down the dates of your event and get it posted to the website and both Facebook groups as close to the beginning of the year as possible.
Each year, there are events being posted just a few weeks or days before they begin, which makes it difficult for the membership to plan their year.
Last year, we asked all chapters to hold their annual meeting and elections in January, and then report the results of the elections as well as a current roster of chapter members to the National Board. This format helps the National Board to know who is in leadership at the chapter level, and who the current membership numbers are.
The January meeting is a great time to decide a date for your event!!
The more notice people have to plan, the more likely they are to be able to attend.
***Note***
Before you decide your event date, make sure it doesn’t conflict with another event date that is already listed in the same regional area.
