Introduction of Bro. Jeff Keck, current Vice President and candidate for re-election:
Howdy Howdy, I am Jeff Keck.
I have been riding with Azusa StreetRiders since 2004 and I look forward to riding with ASR for many years to come. I have started 2 ASR chapters (San Diego, CA and Northwest, MO) and have been active at many levels in ASR during my tenure.
I currently serve as Vice President and I am asking for your vote of confidence again for the 2026-2028 term. It has been a joy to serve as Vice President and to work alongside so many fantastic people.
I came into this position with two primary goals:
1.) Encourage our members (brothers and sisters) to contend for the Apostolic faith once delivered to us.
2.) Make disciples inside and outside the biker community at large to grow Azusa StreetRiders ministry footprint.
I am pleased to say that we have seen several men and women dedicate their lives to Jesus and many other grow in their discipleship and ministries. But none of this could have happened without the countless members prayers, hard work, and partnership in the vision and mission of Azusa StreetRiders.
I have been privileged chair the Bylaws committee and work closely with this remarkable team as we comb through and rewrote, cleaned up, reformatted the entire body of work that we first purposed in 2008.
Over the past two years we have worked hard to define the offices of State Coordinator.
Our current State Coordinators have done a remarkable job of working with many pastors, churches, and District Men’s Directors to promote and explain who we are and the great work we are doing both in the USA and globally. This is a daunting task, and we need the continued support of every State Coordinator and Chapter President for us to continue to be effective.
Scott Culver (National Chaplain) and I have been working to expand our chaplaincy program by encouraging our chaplains to become certified through various training opportunities. We are excited to say that many have done just this and are serving with distinction. Chaplains, we are here to assist you to find better ways to utilize your ministry gifts of service.
Finally, please know that we are unapologetically Apostolic. We are Apostolic in our orthodoxy as well as our orthopraxy of Scripture while serving the lost with orthopathy. We are ministers of Christ and as such, we are the purveyors of the Apostles doctrine and distinctives as we ride and represent our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Every time we put on our colors; we are dressed for discipleship success.
Once again, I humbly ask for your vote as I endeavor to serve you with distinction as your Vice President, International for 2026-2028.
Introduction of Sis. Julie McGhghy, current Secretary and candidate for re-election:
Greetings fellow Azusa StreetRiders. I am Julie McGhghy and I am the current Secretary appointed by the ASR Board in 2024 and elected at the 2024 Annual Business Meeting to serve a two-year term. It has been an amazing experience to serve this esteemed Board and membership. I ask for your support so I may continue doing so for another two-year term.
During my time on the Board, I have been honored to use the skills I acquired as a corporate attorney to help amend the ASR By-Laws to reduce risk to the organization and its members and sponsors. I have assisted the local chapters in understanding the risks to their chapters and sponsoring churches and how to use the Motorcycle Ride-Run Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement and insurance to help reduce those risks.
As I have been serving as Secretary, I have greatly appreciated the singular focus of the Board on moving the ministry to grow spiritually and numerically. I pray our spiritual growth will continue to be evident by the love and unity of the membership as we reach out to the lost to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and trust our Lord and Savior to give the increase to His Kingdom!
I consider it a great privilege to serve this ministry as Secretary and would appreciate an opportunity to continue doing so.
